SuperDuper Terminal for iOS · Last updated 1 August 2026

SuperDuper Terminal collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. The app has no server of its own — it talks only to the machines you point it at.

We cannot see your servers, your keys, your commands or their output. None of it reaches us, because there is nowhere for it to go.

What stays on your device

All of it is removed when you delete the app. Terminal output is not recorded to disk.

Network connections

The app connects to one kind of destination: the SSH servers you add yourself, on the ports you specify. Traffic is encrypted end to end by the SSH protocol between your phone and your server. Nothing is proxied through us, and no telemetry is sent anywhere.

If you use the one-tap provisioning helper, the commands it runs are executed on your own server over that same SSH connection.

Data we do not have

No name, no email, no phone number, no contacts, no location, no device identifiers, no advertising ID, no crash analytics, no behavioural data. Because none of it is collected, there is nothing for us to share, sell, disclose or lose.

Your responsibility

The app is a client for infrastructure you control. What lives on those servers, and who else can reach them, is governed by your own arrangements with whoever hosts them.

Children

The app is a developer tool and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, deletion or portability (GDPR, CCPA and similar) apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. To erase everything the app stored, delete the app.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be posted here with a new date. A change that involved collecting data would also require a new app version and would be described in its release notes.
